Each night hundreds of people sleep rough in the City of Sydney. The St Vincent de Paul Society organises a Night Patrol, which provides food, blankets and companionship to these homeless people. The Night Patrol operates every evening of the year except New Year’s Eve, and caters for all ages.
The Rotary Club of Sydney Cove provides the volunteers for the Night Patrol on the last Tuesday of each month. A brief training session is required before members are allowed to work with the Night Patrol.
