The Rotary Charity Regatta is an annual event, hosted by The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) at Rushcutters Bay, that raises funds for The Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick, Starlight Children's Foundation, Hoc-Mai, Sunshine Home and other worthy causes. The event date is Friday 16 November 2007.

Celebrating our 13th year, the Rotary Charity Regatta has raised over $2,100,000 and remains one of Sydney's largest and most sought after sailing and fundraising events.

Living with illness or injury can cause enormous strain in the lives of children and their families. The everyday joys of childhood often taking a backseat to the stress of treatment and hospitalisation.
Since 1988 Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, by delivering innovative programs that restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away.
Currently Starlight reaches one in three of the 600,000 child admissions into Australian hospitals each year. Our vision is to enable all seriously ill children the opportunity to access and benefit from Starlight programs.

The Lorna Hodgkinson Sunshine Home began in 1923 and is now in its 79th year of operation. Sunshine Home is a not for profit organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, providing accommodation, daytime options and employment opportunities for adults and adolescents with an intellectual disability. Sunshine Home also facilitates general and specialist medical support for residents residing in the institution and also in the community.
