Australian Government Recognises Rotary Volunteers
Last week Commonwealth MPs recognised the impact of Rotary Volunteers who participated in recent Solomon Islands projects. At separate venues in their individual electorates, Rotarians were invited to functions to be presented with certificates acknowledging the ongoing Rotary International projects. Joe Hockey for North Shore electorate presented certificates to club members Tom & Meg G., Denis S. and Michael A. (Rotary Club Sydney Cove) and John and Dianne Rawlings (Sydney Club). Whilst Ted Mc. (pictured) claimed his MP, Tanya Plibersek, gave better awards because … well she’s better looking!
